Manual Handling

Manual Handling Training

For many professions, heavy lifting is part of every working day. Whilst there are currently no official weight limits in the current Manual Handling Regulations, it's important to carefully consider "common sense" limits as to what you or your employees can safely lift, without resulting in injury.

At Central Health & Safety Solutions, we offer professional manual handling training which will help prevent injury, save on non-productive time and assist you in avoiding insurance claims. If you're based in Coventry, Leicester, Birmingham or the Midlands area, contact our team in Nuneaton to discuss your requirements.

Level 2 Award In Moving & Handling (QCF) - Half Day Training Course

The Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (QCF) course is aimed at those who carry out manual handling activities at work in places such as offices, warehouses and those who are subject to the general hazards of manual handling.

The aim of the course is to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to plan and carry out manual handling tasks safely. Students are assessed throughout the course and a short multiple choice question paper. All delegates will be awarded a Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (QCF) certificate, which is valid for three years - you will receive an automatic reminder when it is due for renewal.
