COSHH Awareness Training
The COSHH awareness training course is aimed at employees who deal with hazardous substances on a day to day basis. Candidates will be instructed on the importance of procedures, safe handling and risk management of hazardous substances within their workplace.
The COSHH Awareness course will cover issues likely to affect employees who use chemicals and harmful substances.
The 3-Hour COSSH Training Course Will Cover:
- COSHH regulations
- Defining hazardous substances
- Types of hazardous substances
- How hazardous substances enter the body
- Safe use and storage of hazardous substances (including PPE)
- COSHH risk assessments
Candidates will be assessed throughout the course and a short multiple choice question paper. All delegates will be awarded a COSSH awareness certificate.

Keep Your COSSH Awareness Certificate Up To Date
The length of time between COSSH assessments will vary from person to person as it depends on the nature of job and hazardous substances in question. Central Health & Safety Solutions will take down each candidate's details and email a reminder three months before their certificate expires.
